Important details before you start

The Elevate Africa Fellowship is a leadership program for outstanding mid-career professionals shaping Africa's future. We support leaders with 10-15 years of impactful experience and a proven track record of transformational change across sectors.

Application Opens: 9th January 2026
Closing date: 8th February 2026, 11.59 pm WAT (GMT +1)
Status updates: Shared by February 2026

Before you start

- Review the Fellowship information on the Elevate Africa Fellowship website.
- Be ready to answer both essay and video questions based on your personal and professional journey.
- Save your work regularly using the Save Draft button.

Commitment expectations

- Selected Fellows are expected to:
•⁠ ⁠Cover their international flight cost, while Elevate Africa will cover local travel, accommodation and other associated Fellowship cost.
•⁠ ⁠Attend onboarding (virtual) in March 2026.
•⁠ ⁠Fully participate in learning sessions, mentorship/coaching, capstone, and thought leadership between March and November 2026.
•⁠ ⁠Attend three in-person immersives: May (Kigali), August (Nigeria), and late Oct/early Nov (to be announced).
•⁠ ⁠Engage actively with the cohort and alumni community.

Eligibility basics

- Minimum 10 years of work experience with measurable impact.
- Demonstrated leadership and pan-African commitment.
- Reliable internet connection and full availability for the program.
